The series ‘Cable Rooms’ represents the human mind as an abstract machine with an invisible operator. The white and minimalist environment references the scientific laboratory, as well as the modernist ‘white cube’ gallery aesthetic. These spaces both isolate complex experiences and phenomena from the everyday environment, to examine these in a closely controlled environment.
